Nigerian writer and songwriter, Oludemilade Martin Alejo, professionally known as Ycee, has taken to his verified Instagram page to criticize Nollywood actress Ada La Pinky after she said that she does not like hanging out with young guys because they don’t usually give her transport fare to go back home after their meeting.
The actress stirred reactions on social media when she took to her Instagram page to say that she does not like going out to see young guys because they find it hard to give a lady money transport fare.
She said that it is bad that she would get her makeup and hair done to go and meet a guy, only for him to thank her for coming without giving her transport fare. She said that young guys don’t usually ask for a lady’s account number to send her money as appreciation for taking out her time to meet them.
Her statement had drawn mixed reactions from social media users, and one of those who reacted was Ycee. Ycee berated her for having such a mentality.
In the post which he made on his Instastory, Ycee wrote – “If it is not expecting high-end dates with high-end budgets or demanding money for hair and makeup, then it is transport fare.”
Well, some people did not see anything wrong with what Ada La Pinky said, as they said that she was only voicing out how she feels, and that what she said does not apply to every lady. And some had criticized her for coming to social media to make such a statement.
