Clem’s Ohameze has a charisma and presence that makes most Nollywood fans awe at his performance whenever he take son a role, he can easily portray any character given to him and usually sends chills down our spine when he chooses to take the role of a villain or bad person.

Despite the fact that most of his fans know him, many don’t know his wife and beautiful children.

Before we get to see them let’s take a brief look at Clem’s biography.

Clem Ohameze is a famous Nollywood actor, director, producer, entrepreneur, investor, politician and a philanthropist. He was born on 27th June 1965 in Port Harcourt, River State in the south southern part of Nigeria.

He is very gifted, skillful, creative and talented in acting and interpretation of movie roles.Clem Ohameze is originally from Oguta, a small village in Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria, but grew up in Port Harcourt, Rivers State in the south southern part of Nigeria.

Clem Ohameze completed his primary school education in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. After completing his primary school education, Clem Ohameze attended Baptist High School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria and obtained his West African Senior School Certificate. Thereafter he proceeded to Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu State, Nigeria and obtained his National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication.

After obtaining his National Diploma in Mass Communication, Clem Ohameze proceeded to University of Port Harcourt in River State, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology in 1984.

Clem Ohameze started his professional acting career and performed in several NTA drama series, this indeed brought him to limelight and he became loved by all and sundry.

In 1995, Clem Ohameze joined the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and started featuring in Nollywood movies. In 1998, Clems rose to fame after starring in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “End Time” a movie that made him famous and earned him a nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

He has acted in more than 250 Nollywood movies which include A Cry for Help, End Time, Thanksgiving, My Sister My Love, Billionaires Club, Ije, Emotional Blunder, Oganigwe, Stigma, Child of Pain, Smooth Operator, Knight of the Night, Face of a Murderer, The Faithful Woman, Kingdom of Darkness, Evil Desire, Price of Ignorance, Second Tenure, Butterfly, Back from Hell, etc. He acts mostly in occultic movies and sometimes as pastor in movies.

Clem Ohameze is currently one of the most gifted, most skillful, most creative and most talented actors in Nigeria. He knows how to interpret his roles very well and can fit in any character given to him by movie directors and producers. He is one of the pioneers of the Nigerian movie industry (Nollywood) and contributed immensely to the growth of Nollywood in Nigeria and rest of the world.

He is currently one of the highest paid actor in Nigeria.

In 2007, Clem Ohameze joined the Nigerian politics and contested to represent his community Ohaji-Egbema-Oguta Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in Nigeria. He joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to contest for Member of the Federal House of Representatives in the 2007 general election held in Nigeria, but however abandoned the pursuit over allegations of threat to his life. Unfortunately, his car was attacked and his cousin was shot and killed during the incident.

After the incident, Clem Ohameze abandoned politics immediately and relocated to London in United Kingdom. During an interview with the media he stated that he intends to contest for another elective position in the 2015 general elections. In 2010, Clem Ohameze obtained a Master Degree in Preventive and Social Medicine from Buckingham University of London in United Kingdom.

After graduating Buckingham University of London in United Kingdom in 2010, Clem Ohameze returned back to Nigeria and featured in the award-winning Nollywood movie “Ije” alongside with Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. The movie “Ije” won him an award for Best Supporting Actor at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Clem Ohameze is currently married to Chinwe Esther Ohameze.
