Lere Olayinka, a former adviser to Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti state, has offered his opinion on rumors that the actress Funke Akindele and her husband, JJC Skillz, are divorcing.
He said that Akindekle forced him to leave their house three months ago, and that since the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards on May 14, he hasn’t been able to sit down with her.
JJC added, “I moved out of the house months ago and at Funke’s urging, and aside from AMVCA have not been able to persuade Funke to sit down in an amicable manner to discuss the future of our relationship.”
At response to this, Mr. Olayinka asserted that it is improper for a guy to spend the night in a woman’s home in Yorubaland. He said that the body of a guy must be removed through a window if he passes away inside a woman ’s house.
In his words;
In Yorubaland, it is a taboo for a man to sleep in a woman’s house. If a man dies in a woman’s house, the corpse must be moved out through the window.
